Confessions of a Shopaholic

Rebbecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is in major debt in this funny romantic comedy, Confessions of a Shopaholic. Rebbecca has always dreamed of working at Alette, a popular fashion magazine. In order to get the job, Rebbecca believes that she has to work her way up, starting at working at Successful Savings. This movie is not just about her job, but the rush of the dollar, and how she tries to stop her excessive shopping.


This movie is charming, funny, and a lot of fun! Confessions of a Shopaholic is a great date movie! So head to Blockbuster and rent it for your next date night!

Hannah Montana: The Movie

This is a great movie for the whole family, especially those little Hannah Montana lovers! In this Movie Miley's dad takes the family to Tennessee for their grandmothers birthday. During this time, Miley's father is deciding whether of not to let Miley be Hannah anymore. This movie has a lot of funny parts and a few sad parts! This is definitely a movie to take the kids to!

We give this movie three and a half stars!

17 Again

This was another one of my all time favorite movies! It has a great lesson for teens and for parents. The plot is clever and the characters are funny. I think it is worth your money . Although I dont suggest this movie for young children.

I gladly give this movie four and a half stars!

Twilight

This movie has almost everything you can think of....packed into one great movie. It has romance, comedy, drama, action, and suspense! Twilight got me into books and movies about vampires. I never really considered the concept till this movie. In Twilight, Bella (Played by Kristen Stewart) is moving from Sunny Arizona, to spend some time with her divorced father in cloudy Forks, Washington. She meets secretive Edward Cullen (played by fan crazed Robert Pattinson)

Twilight is a really good movie full of all you can think of!

I proudly give this movie 3 1/2 stars!

G.I. Joe - Rise of Cobra

The first thing I thought when I walked out of this movie was..."Wow! This was one of my favorite movies!"

I can admit that not everyone will like this movie for one major reason:

The action just goes on and on. It was like non- stop action!

But that was one of the reasons why I liked it.

I loved this movie so much! It was really funny, the gadgets and gizmo's they used were really cool, and I also liked the romance in it. It was also full of surprises and things they will startle you.

If you don't like the non stop action, then you probably will think this movie may be a bit boring, although it is one of my favorite movies at the moment.

I would give this movie the whole five stars, but that would just be from my point of view, but thinking that a lot of people might not like all the action I had to go down a star.

I proudly give this movie four stars!

In the movie Up, a man named Carl Fredricksen decides to put hundreds of balloons on his house and float away to the vacation destination he, and his late wife had always dreamed of going to. Along the way he meets a boy named Russel. Russel is a outgoing, always doing something, kind of kid. During the journey, Carl learns to have a heart for Russel, and really care about people around him. Other, funny, and unexpected events happen on the way that make this movie so adorable! You may think this movie only attracts to young kids, but i strongly disagree. This is a wonderful movie, with humorous parts through out, a few sad parts, and well made action scenes. Go see it wth your kids!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

This movie of Harry Potter was truly different from all others. In this sixth installment of Harry Potter I laughed the most I ever laughed in any of the Harry Potter movies. Although it was funny, it also felt pretty dark as well. But I have to say that I think the whole audience like the movie. I went to the midnight showing of this movie with two of my older siblings. When a part of the movie was funny the whole audience laughed. The movie will make you laugh, it will make you cry, but this is definitely the best Harry Potter Movie yet. This was also the saddest movie yet.

I give this movie 3 and a half stars!

My Sister's Keeper

My Sister's Keeper was a very moving movie. The acting in this movie was amazing. I give high praise to the acting in this movie becasue I love acting myself. In My Sister's Keeper Anna (Abagail Breslin) decides to sue her parents for the rights of her own body. In the movie, you see most of the characters go through emotional challenges. At some parts of the movie it becomes difficult to watch, because you see many characters struggling. There are few funny parts, but when the funny parts come around, they make you laugh pretty hard. I suggest if you have trouble watching dramatic stuff like this, then this isn't the movie for you. But luckily I don't have trouble with this. This movie is truly moving, and wonderfully made! One thing I noticed, is that this is one of Cameron Diaz's first movies where she has to act serious, and not comedic like in her past movies. I thought that this was one of her best.

Star Trek (2009)

When I first walked into the theater to see this movie, my hopes were not too high. First off, I was not a fan of the series at all, nor was I even interested. The thing is, this movie has things the show doesn't, which may interest teens, because most may not be into Star Trek. The new Star Trek Movie includes humor, which is one thing the old show lacked. This may attract a lot of the audience. I am a big fan of comedy myself, so that is one of the reasons why this movie was so outstanding! Another thing that was wonderful about this movie, is the graphics. It honestly made me feel as if I was in the movie. One thing about this movie I enjoyed to watch was the little thing between Spok and Uhura, and watching James' reactions to their little "relationship"



All in all this was a fantastic movie, with humorous parts, and intense graphics.
